GoDurham ACCESS is the city of Durham and Durham County’s paratransit service, offering transportation for eligible residents with disabilities or mobility challenges.
Transportation Services Available
GoDurham ACCESS includes a range of services designed to meet the diverse needs of our community, including ADA paratransit, Durham County ACCESS, the Senior Shuttle, and GoDurham Connect.
GoDurham ACCESS (ADA Paratransit)

- Service area:
- City of Durham
ADA paratransit service for eligible riders to all locations within the City of Durham and to any location outside the City that is 3/4 of a mile of any fixed-route bus route operated by GoDurham.
Durham County ACCESS

- Rural residents, seniors (60+), or people with disabilities
- Service area:
- Durham County
Durham County ACCESS offers transportation for eligible Durham County residents who are 60+, have a disability, or live in rural areas. Rides are available for work, medical and nutritional appointments, shopping, and other personal needs.
Senior Shuttle

- Grocery trips
- Eligibility:
- Residents of participating communities
- Service area:
- Select senior living communities
The Senior Shuttle is a free weekly service connecting residents of select senior communities in Durham to the grocery store.
GoDurham Connect
- Usage:
- All trip types
- Eligibility:
- Open to general public
- Service area:
- North and East Durham Zones
GoDurham Connect is an on-demand microtransit service offering flexible, same-day, door-to-door rides within East and North Durham. Designed for areas with limited fixed-route service, riders can request trips between any locations within and between each zone.

Eligible GoDurham ACCESS and Durham County ACCESS riders can use the GoDurham ACCESS app to make it easy to schedule, manage, and track trips. The app also supports ride booking for GoDurham Connect.

GoDurham ACCESS Service Hours
Monday to Saturday, 5:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Sundays and Holidays, 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Sundays and Holidays, 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
GoDurham ACCESS Office Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
GoDurham Connect Hours
Monday to Sunday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Reservation and Scheduling Hours
You can make or cancel a reservation with a reservations agent by calling (919) 560-1551 from Monday to Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Outside of these hours, you can call to manage your ride through our AI calling system or by using the GoDurham ACCESS app.

Recognized Holidays
Holiday service hours apply on the following days:

- Martin Luther King Jr. Day (3rd Monday in January)
- Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
- Juneteenth (June 19)
- Independence Day (July 4)
- Labor Day (1st Monday in September)
- Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November)
- Christmas Eve (December 24) - Service ends at 7:30 p.m.
- Christmas Day (December 25) - GoDurham ACCESS is closed
